Write for us
Urban Champion Stories welcomes considered contributions about participation in city life. We are interested in clear ideas grounded in everyday urban experience, not promotional copy or unsupported claims.
What we welcome
Pitch explainers, comparisons, thoughtful accounts of civic processes and practical stories about shared places, neighbourhood routines and local participation. A good piece has one clear subject and gives readers context they can use without relying on local rule changes or specialist advice.
What to include
Send a short proposal through the Contact page. Name the subject, describe the central point, say who the piece is for and note the information or examples you would use. Tell us if the idea depends on a particular place, and distinguish proposed reporting from material already gathered.
Editorial fit
We value precise language, fair treatment of different perspectives and a clear line between fact and interpretation. We do not accept fabricated experience, undisclosed promotional writing or claims that cannot be responsibly supported. A pitch is not a promise of publication.
A city belongs to the people who use it.
We look beyond grand plans to the daily encounters, questions and choices that shape shared urban life.
